Now this is pretty cool..."The Raver Stories Project" just got its first mention in the Italian media, as you can see here...
And here's the English version, courtesy of the probably not 100% accurate Google Translate: Over 250 pages of photos and stories from the nineties to the present, from rave to big clubs like Ministry Of Sound London to epochal festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival and A State Of Trance. This and more is "The Raver Story Project," the new book by photographer and journalist Californian Michael Tullberg, which breaks back into the field of industry publishing after "DanceFloor Thunderstorm" of 2014. A trip from semiclandest electronic rallies to EDM festivals who now rival all over and over with rock and pop, often and willingly contaminating each other; the strength of Michael Tullberg's works is in the photos, but also in his first-time raver experience. And those who have lived in the first person this unrepeatable season brings with it a unique human and cultural heritage that allows him to tell the best of the world of djs, clubs, festivals and electronic music in general. Not bad, not bad at all...thank you Spadar News! Here's the link: www.spadaronews.co.uk/the-raver-story-project-il-nuovo-libro-di-tullberg/

Hey folks!
More great news! RSP author Michael Tullberg just made his second appearance on Hunnypot Internet radio Monday night, and it went GREAT! Michael of course appeared in order to support The Raver Stories Project, and story author Darcey Kearney also appeared as well! We will have audio from the night soon, but in the meantime, take a look at this pic from the scene of the crime ;) Hey folks!
Good news! The official book release party for "THE RAVER STORIES PROJECT" was last night, and it was a blast! It was held at Industry DTLA, the same location that was used for the "DANCEFLOOR THUNDERSTORM" release party! We brought in a few more people than the last party this time around, and a good time was had by all! First off, the DJs we had were all fantastic. HUGE thanks to Kimberly St. John, JS2 (J Splat and Daemia) and Richard Enos! Big shout-outs to our great sponsors, Perfectomundo Tequiila and Icelandic Glacial Water! Huge thanks to Christina King for letting us use his place once again! And of course, and ENORMOUS thanks to all of the wonderful people who attended! Here are a few pics to show you what it was like: |
